Commercial & Residential / TPO Roof Installation
A reflective, heat-welded single-ply system installed for maximum longevity.
TPO is the fastest-growing flat roof membrane for good reason: its heat-welded seams create a monolithic watertight surface, its reflective white finish reduces cooling costs, and a properly installed system can protect a building for 25–30 years with minimal maintenance. Our crews install every TPO system — mechanically attached, fully adhered, or ballasted — to manufacturer specification and local code, backed by a workmanship warranty and honest, upfront pricing.
Fast, free, and no obligation.
A TPO single-ply membrane installation, built correctly from the deck up
New Roof Installation
TPO excels in a wide range of low-slope applications. Here are the most common projects where a heat-welded TPO system is the right long-term answer.
TPO is one of the most specified membranes for new commercial construction — we install complete systems from the structural deck up to code and manufacturer specification.
TPO’s reflective white surface qualifies for Energy Star and cool-roof incentives — making it a popular choice when reducing cooling loads is a priority.
When an existing flat roof has failed, a full tear-off and fresh TPO installation gives you a clean deck, proper insulation taper, and a new heat-welded membrane from the ground up.
After a major storm or insurance total-loss determination, we install a complete new TPO system — handling all documentation and adjuster communication along the way.
TPO is a natural upgrade from aging EPDM, mod-bit, or built-up roofs — delivering better reflectivity, welded seam strength, and modern material performance.
Large low-slope warehouse roofs and retail build-outs are ideal candidates for mechanically attached TPO — fast to install, cost-effective, and highly wind-resistant.
Why TPO
Every seam is hot-air welded and probe-tested for full bond — creating a monolithic membrane surface stronger than the base material itself at every lap.
We design taper and drain placement before touching the deck — because a TPO system that ponds water degrades seams and insulation regardless of membrane quality.
White TPO reflects solar heat, reducing cooling loads and qualifying for Energy Star cool-roof credits — a measurable operational saving over the membrane’s life.
Every TPO installation meets local building code requirements and we pull the required permits so your project is fully documented and inspected.
Our Installation Process
Every new TPO installation follows the same five-step process, so you always know what happens next and why.
We discuss membrane thickness, attachment method (mechanically attached, fully adhered, or ballasted), insulation R-value, and drainage design before anything else.
A line-item estimate covering every component — deck prep, insulation, cover board, TPO membrane, fasteners or adhesive, flashing, drains, and labor — with no hidden costs.
We pull required permits, coordinate membrane and insulation delivery, and schedule the crew — seam welding quality is directly affected by temperature, so weather planning matters.
Our crews install every layer in proper sequence — deck prep, insulation taper, cover board, TPO membrane, heat-weld every seam, probe for bond, and complete all parapet flashings and drain collars.
A full post-installation walkthrough probes every seam weld, checks every drain collar and flashing, and confirms proper drainage slope — followed by complete site cleanup.
Attachment Methods
We install all three TPO attachment methods. We’ll help you choose the right one for your building’s structure, wind exposure, and budget.
TPO sheets are fastened through the insulation to the deck with plates and screws at manufacturer-specified spacing, then heat-welded at every seam. The most cost-effective and fastest TPO installation method.
TPO membrane is bonded directly to the cover board with bonding adhesive across the full sheet, then heat-welded at seams. Provides the best wind uplift resistance and a smooth, clean appearance.
TPO membrane is laid loose over the insulation and held in place with rounded river stone ballast. A simple, cost-effective option for roofs with adequate structural capacity to support the ballast load.
Why Trust Us
We’ve built our reputation on TPO installations with properly welded seams, correct drainage design, and zero shortcuts — across Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia.
Top 3% of roofing contractors nationwide — the standard that ensures our TPO installation crews are trained, equipped, and held accountable on every project.
Decades of TPO and single-ply membrane installation experience across commercial, industrial, and residential low-slope projects on every crew we send out.
Every TPO installation is backed by our workmanship warranty — on top of the manufacturer’s material warranty on the membrane and system components.
A local crew with hot-air welding equipment and seam-probing expertise that shows up on schedule and stays until every weld is verified and the job passes inspection.
Financing Available
A new TPO system is a significant investment, especially on commercial buildings or full tear-off projects. Our team works with flexible financing options so budget doesn’t force a shortcut on membrane thickness or attachment method.
“B&A installed a mechanically attached TPO system on our retail building and the difference vs. our old EPDM roof is night and day. Every seam was probed before they left the site. Passed inspection first visit, and our cooling bills dropped noticeably the first summer.”
